Nina waxes technical and personal.

She knew as much about syringomyelia as anyone on the planet.

She describes this as “the medical bit”.

After her death Nina’s body was graciously accepted by University of Washington for research to further understanding of syringomyelia and the rare expression of the condition in her case.
